Hello, I'm Dr Jennifer Ryder

I'm an accredited mental health social worker and I help people find more clarity and peace of mind in their daily lives. 

Issues might seem too challenging. Let's talk about it.

I support adults and children experiencing depression, stress and anxiety caused by everyday life, through to complex trauma.

I understand how important it is to choose the right counsellor. We'll work together in a safe and supportive way - while learning simple-to-use strategies - to help achieve a more positive outlook on life.

CBT is a type of talking therapy based on the idea that how you think and act affects how you feel. 

A modified version of CBT which uses seemingly opposing strategies of ‘acceptance’ and ‘change’ to help you move forward.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy used to treat post traumatic stress disorder. 

The aim of ACT is to accept what is out of your personal control, and commit to action as a way to improve and enrich your life.
